September 22 2010 -- “A Night in the Cold” organized by the Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness Barrie Chapter is to be held Oct 1, 2010 at Fred Grant Square. Being an election year there will also be an all candidate’s debate.
At this event media and public are invited to participate in an awareness march that will start at 5:00pm at Queen’s Park, ending with a community dinner served to the public at 6:00pm at Fred Grant Square. After the dinner we open up the stage to the candidates to answer questions from the public regarding homelessness, and poverty issues in Simcoe County.
