New Tecumseth has a $3.92 billion assessment base which it will tap to raise $19.2 million in property taxes for 2011 municipal purposes, plus $1.7 million to pay for waste management services from the County.

Simcoe County will levy $10.1 million from New Tecumseth ratepayers in upper tier taxes, the second largest contribution out of the $103.9 million to be collected from the 16 member municipalities.
