At the last meeting of the outgoing Simcoe County council on November 23 councillors approved changes to the county's procedure bylaw that will establish a two-year term for the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of the County’s Standing Committees and create a new position, that of Deputy Warden.
Orientation sessions start November 30
The orientation sessions for the new county council are open to the public and will be held November 30th, December 2nd and December 7th, 2010 commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the County Council Chambers at 1110 Highway 26, Midhurst.
