So, Tim Hudak, leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario has announced that he will eliminate the "sneaky eco-taxes" on a range of products, implemented by the McGuinty Liberals.
... What we want to know is whether Hudak will reverse McGuinty's policy decisions that exempt certain activities from requiring an Environmental Assessments - everything from wind farms, to the "Peaker" plant in King Twp., to the Melancthon mega-quarry. Under the revised Aggregate Resources Act, applications for Aggregate resource extraction on private land do not require an Environmental Assessment.
