Let Van Loan know how you feel about senate / PMO scandal PDF Print E-mail

At the May 21 council meeting, James Leduc, supported by Raj Sandhu , bought forward  a motion to have our BWG council write to Hon. Peter Van Loan and ask him to urge the Prime Minister to call in the RCMP to investigate the current scandal that started in the senate and grew to include the PMO.  Council voted this down with only Councillors Sandhu and Leduc voting in favour.

Six environmental and citizens' groups have written to Mayor Robert Grossi, Chair of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, asking that an application for development by Metrus on a provincially significant wetland be denied. The letter is on the agenda for Friday's meeting of the LSRCA board
